Node Runners 2.0 Is Now Eonar Odyssey

Node Runners 2.0 — the next-generation MMO space adventure from the makers of the original Node Runners NFT game — is rebranding to Eonar Odyssey.

Why the rebrand? Eonar Odyssey is a game based on similar principles to Node Runners, but it is set in a whole new world; a new universe with new races, new characters, and a new objective.

The rebrand is designed to make the distinction between the two games clear, to boost the trajectory of the new game, and to preserve the original Node Runners game and community.

Rebrand Specifics

First of all, to make the distinction between the two games as clear as possible, we’ve decided to update the game and social media account names. This includes rebranding the old Node Runners social media channels to Eonar Odyssey, while creating a brand new account to accommodate the original game and its many fans.

We’ve also agreed as a team that the rebrand will provide clearer messaging to users, fans, and token holders, in accordance with the new gameplay and token dynamics. Not only will it make everything clearer and more enjoyable for existing users, but it will optimize further user growth and acquisition, via clearer market positioning.

Finally, the rebrand will streamline activity within the Eonar Odyssey team itself, making it easier to manage and allocate tasks between team members. This will enable us to put our best foot forward as we deliver on what we believe to be the best NFT-DeFi hybrid game in the space to date!

About Eonar Odyssey

“Eonar Odyssey” is a decentralized space exploration game, tied to a real-world economy by being built on top of base-layer decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols. A player’s primary objective is to assemble a crew to explore the Eonar universe — visiting planets, mining resources, and upgrading their spaceships to maximize returns.

By sending spaceships to the other planets (DeFi protocols) and staking tokens, players will be able to earn underlying DeFi protocol yield rewards, along with Eonar’s very own in-game tokens. These can be used for in-game upgrades or traded on the open market.

Eonar Odyssey is designed to create a more sustainable play-to-earn ecosystem by harnessing existing DeFi protocols and relying less on inflationary rewards.
