Node Runners partner up with Matic Network

We are extremely excited to announce our first strategic partnership. Our partner is Matic Network, who are famous for their L2 scaling solution, which solves the issue of slow block confirmations and high gas fees in the current blockchain ecosystem. In other words, Matic Network enables Ethereum-based DApps to scale, as their meta-transactions solution enables users to sign gasless transactions while staying on the Ethereum network.

In addition to this, being backed by such giants as Binance, Coinbase, and Ventures, Matic Network proves to have the trustworthiness and expertise — two extremely important factors for our strategic partnership to be a long-term success.

As our readers may already know, Node Runners is a cyberpunk themed game, consisting of both NFT and DeFi elements, and built on the Ethereum network. In its essence, our game involves farming and staking NFTs, as well as fighting Villains in 1-on-1 battles. All of this requires our users to interact with our platform multiple times, therefore high gas fees and slow transactions’ speed may become a real burden.

Matic Network’s provided Layer 2 platform will help us scale by enabling us to increase transactions’ speed and make them completely gasless. Essentially, this will provide our players with a completely seamless gaming experience and will attract a much wider audience of gamers and NFT enthusiasts.
